Morning and Evening Prayer
As well as praying on our own, it’s great when Christians pray together with others – this supports and encourages us, and enables us to support and encourage others. These are the current opportunities for corporate prayer in our churches:
Morning Prayer on Mondays at 8.00am in St Luke’s Church
Evening Prayer on Tuesdays at 7.00pm in St Mary’s Church
Morning Prayer on Wednesdays at 8.00am on Zoom – contact Revd Rob Savage for a Zoom link
Morning Prayer on Thursdays at 8.00am in St Mary’s Church
Contemplative and Healing Prayer
Other opportunities for Prayer include a Healing Prayer Group on the third Tuesday of each month at St Mary’s Church at 7.00pm, and a meeting of the Fellowship for Contemplative Prayer usually on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St Mary’s Church at 7.00pm.
Bible Study
As well as reading the Bible on our own, it’s great when Christians read the Bible with others – this opens us up to different ways of interpreting the Word of God that comes to us through scripture.
We have two regular Bible Study House Groups that meet fortnightly, one on a Tuesday afternoon (1a Granby Drive, Riddlesden), and one on a Friday morning at the home of Barbara Cullingworth (2 Thurlestone Court, East Morton).
